Is your belt tied right… or just tied?
Here’s a fun fact most new students don’t know. In TaeKwonDo, your belt has a name: the “dee” (띠, the Korean word for belt). It’s more than something that holds your uniform closed. It’s a symbol of everything you’ve learned on the mat.
That’s why our students follow three simple belt rules:Always keep it tied properlyNever drape it around your neckNever let it touch the ground
Bonus rule: don’t wash it. Your dee keeps all your hard work.
